Deficency of Zinc accentuates copper execess

Most people have a copper imbalance.  It usually includes having excess, biounavailable and unusable copper in the body.  This must be removed to restore health.

SYMPTOMS OF COPPER ELIMINATION

Common symptoms when copper pours into the blood stream on its way out of the body can include headaches and skin rashes. The rash can be anywhere on the body, though the most common locations are the face, head or neck.

One may also feel nausea or bloating.  Some also have a flare-up of an infection, a cold or flu symptoms.

Candida albicans
Another possible symptom has to do with yeast or candida buildup in the body.  This is associated with copper toxicity.  As the copper is removed, usually the candida problem just goes away on its own without any other therapy.

Symptoms can arise for any of the following reasons

1. The body may not be able to clear or remove it from the blood rapidly enough.

2. The liver, kidneys absorb so much copper from the blood that they become overloaded and stop functioning properly.  The liver is the usual place this occurs.
In this case, the person will often feel nauseous, and perhaps will feel some pain or fullness in the area of the liver until the liver recovers.

3. A deficiency of the copper binding proteins. These are called copper binding proteins.  These grab onto the free or unbound copper in the blood and safely transport it to the liver, kidneys and elsewhere.

They include ceruloplasmin, metallothionein and perhaps others as well.

The sulfur-containing amino acids found in eggs and meats are helpful for removing copper, for example.  This is an important reason why vegetarians who do not eat much meat or eggs have much more problems eliminating copper in most cases.

Adequate adrenal glandular activity may also be required for the liver to produce enough copper binding protein.

If a lot of copper is dumped into the blood at once, the body may not have enough binding proteins available to handle it.  As a result, free or unbound copper floats through the blood, damaging tissues and organs as it does.  A common symptom when this happens is a headache and a skin rash.

One could also feel nausea for a few hours or even days if the copper elimination is intense.

4. Replacing copper with more healthful minerals in some enzyme binding sites may also cause symptoms.

6. Copper toxicity is associated with infections of all kinds.  As copper is eliminated, many people experience a temporary flare-up of symptoms related to a cold, flu, sinus condition, or some other infection.

SOLUTIONS
To stop or reduce the symptoms of copper elimination, here are several option

1. Drink 3 quarts or more of steam distilled water for a few days to a week as your only beverage.

This can be most helpful to reduce stress on the liver and kidneys, and allows the body to move through the copper elimination as quickly and as easily as possible

2. Stop the supplements  This will take care of many copper elimination symptoms.

3. Cooked vegetables  This assists all elimination and replaces more minerals.

4. Stay on the regular diet and add milk thistle, dandelion or burdock root to promote liver activity.

 Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine or pyridoxal-5-phosphate).

Sulfur also binds with copper, reducing its toxic effects.  Sulfur is also important for liver detoxification.

Zinc.  While zinc is a major copper antagonist, taking more zinc during a copper elimination can cause the body to remove more copper from the liver.  Zinc can replace copper in the liver and elsewhere.  However, this might force more copper into the blood stream, aggravating copper elimination symptoms. Therefore, extra zinc is not usually the best answer.

Copper antagonist are B, C and E, sulphur, selenium, manganese, and molybdenum.

  Copper Antagonists

Manganese ......
Brown rice, Spinach, Pumpkin seeds, Wheat grass,
Selenium
Salmon, Chicken

Molybdenum
Cucumber,
celery
Kefir,
eggs,
Tomatoes,
Carrots,
Almonds.

Zinc -  A -  D - B - C -  E - &
Sulphur [ Cabbage]  are crucial to fight off Candida.

A deficiency in zinc can also cause the leaky gut.

Blood sugar balance

Diets low in biotin impair the production of insulin, a key hormone in the balancing of blood sugar. More recently, researchers have shown that deficiency of biotin also affects the way insulin acts on cells, giving a second reason that low biotin intake potentially creates problems.
Happily, many of the biotin-rich foods we list are also strong sources of fiber, which make them great staples for people with blood sugar problems. Demonstrating this point, a Spanish research group reported that adding about an ounce of mixed nuts into the diet for 12 weeks led to significant improvement in blood sugar control in a group of people at high risk of developing diabetes.

Skin health

Deficiency of biotin is also known to cause skin rash. This symptom occurs because biotin is necessary to build healthy fats in the skin.

Consider focusing on foods high in both biotin and omega-3 fatty acids , including salmon and eggs from pasture-raised chickens.

Summary of Food Sources

Nuts, root vegetables, and eggs are among our best sources of biotin. Each can contain more than a quarter of your daily biotin need in a single serving.
